As part of the Take A Load Off, Texas initiative, Oncor offers a variety of commercial programs to encourage energy efficiency for businesses in the DFW area. To qualify, businesses must be located in Oncor’s service area and receive electricity from an Oncor meter.

Basic Commercial Program

  • Incentives for implementation of already qualified efficiency measures, such as lighting upgrades, to commercial facilities
  • Eligible facilities include restaurants, retail stores, healthcare facilities, schools, office buildings
  • Commercial projects include qualifying energy efficiency measures with a minimum incentive of $500

Custom Commercial Program

  • Eligible facilities include healthcare facilities, warehouses, office buildings
  • Projects must achieve at least $10,000 minimum incentive in measured and verified savings to qualify
