Step 1: Meeting

Step 2: Determine Cost of Current Lighting

During the assessment, we will gather information on the current cost of your lighting to quantify the impact of your existing lighting on your operating expenses. Step 3: Inventory Existing Lighting

Next, we will tour your property to assess existing interior and exterior lighting. During this inventory, we note the following:

Wattage of each fixture
Voltage at each fixture

We follow the IES Handbook for all foot candles requirements. If an area of a building does not meet the minimum requirements, we will note it and offer a recommendation to improve it. We also follow the IECC 2015 for energy efficiency codes. These codes are the requirements for motion sensors, daylight harvesting, and energy usage.

Step 4: Assessment Report

Finally, we compile everything we learned during the inventory into a written assessment report covering the following:
